Today Mr Potts joined students from Athelney and Elfrida to mark our special connection with one of our living legends to show our support for our national football team. Come on England! We hope that Gareth Southgate and his team can show the Athelney and Elfrida Values this Sunday. Hey Jude.... Bring it Home to Bellingham! We are all behind you!
The weather was beautiful, the outfits were perfect and the singing was angelic. We even managed to use our new Makaton knowledge to sign God Save The Queen. A very happy Platinum Jubilee to HRH Queen Elizabeth II, We hope you all enjoy your celebrations.

Can you guess the teacher who is reading this story?
Zaiden taught us about his love of the London Underground. We painted tube maps, built trains and worked together to make cities over our tracks. Well done Zaiden.

The purpose of this video is to explain some of the principles behind the Zones of Regulation. The Zones is an emotional curriculum that helps individuals to talk about feelings, explore behaviour, understand their own behaviour and that of others and develop strategies to help them to better manage their feelings.

Children enjoyed doing gymnastics in free flow. Ms Hedington encouraged El'liyah to make up a gymnastic routine and talked about what a routine was. She made up her routine from a range of moves- cartwheel split- bridge- forward roll- tuck jump- star jump- cartwheel and finish pose.

Pippa and Kali choreographed the whole dance and taught it to their friends. The performers then chose their material and made their outfit. They then performed the dance to their friends and teachers. The interest developed into a fashion show and they added the fashion show onto their performance. The children then wrote invitations and did some writing in their books. Please watch and enjoy :)

This week we are going to be having lots of fun learning all about birds and how to take care of them. You will also get to explore learning about lots of different types of birds too : )
This week we are going to learn about birds and how we can help them in this cold winter month. As you can see from my video, it is snowing where I live and I couldn’t see any birds with my home made binoculars. Can you see any? These birds must be so hungry as there isn’t a lot of food for them in the cold winter months. Why not try and help your environment and make a bird feeder? Send me your photos :)
